How Many Jobs Are There?

As of update 1.5.1, BlockSpin has 6 jobs that you can switch between. Each job is separated either by a specific building you can enter or are locked behind certain tools you need. The easiest jobs to start working in are the Janitor, Shelf Stocker, and Cook. In fact, the Janitor job is the first one you’ll learn about after playing the tutorial!
Each job has different rewards and has their income rates increased depending on your level. The more you work a job, the more rewards and BlockSpin Cash you’ll earn. However, this inevitably results can feel like a long grind for players trying to build up their Blockspin cash quickly.
| Job | Location | Tasks | Difficulty |
| Janitor | Burger Place | Mop up puddles inside the Burger Place building. Puddles continue spawning. | Beginner Friendly |
| Shelf Stocker | Quick-11 Gas Station | Take boxes from the storage room to stock on shelves. | Beginner Friendly |
| Cook | The Butcher’s Cut | Cook steaks at the right timing in the kitchen. | Beginner Friendly |
| Fishing | Any body of water (Fishing Rod needed) | Use your Fishing Rod to catch fish at any body of water to sell. | Intermediate |
| Swiper | Any ATM
(Hack Tool needed) |

Beginner-Friendly Jobs Guide

There are three jobs in BlockSpin that we consider to be the most beginner-friendly and easiest jobs to play. These are the Janitor, Cook, and Shelf Stocker jobs.
All of these can be played as soon as you enter the game and finish the tutorial. The first of which is actually the Janitor, which is arguably the best money-maker. However because of its fast task cycle and constant respawns, jobs like the Cook are the safest because of their remote areas.
Janitor Tips

With the Janitor job being the first one you’ll ever play on a new account, it’s meant to be a very easy job. All you do is walk to any puddle in the Burger Place. Depending on what level you’re on, the puddles will become quicker to mop up. They also constantly appear, usually right next to each other, so it’s not only easy, but very quick to make Cash compared to the other beginner jobs with longer wait-times.
Tips:
- Mop around areas with multiple puddles close to each other
- After reaching level 5, you’ll unlock more areas to mop!
- Lots of new players will join you, so try to make friends this way
Shelf Stocker Tips
Out of all the jobs, this one might be the worst to make money from. You’ll still get a decent payout, but it’s placed in the busiest area on the map. Often do players get ambushed while trying to work this job and there’s very little room to escape. Unlike the Janitor job, not all beginner players are guaranteed to work here, so be wary.’
Tips:
- Pay attention to the windows of incoming players that may attack you
- Have at least one or two weapons on hand
- Use the aisles to hide from attacking players and escape ambushes!
Cook Tips
This is an often under looked job, but one that’s perfect if you’re low on items and don’t want an ambush on your hands. Not only is this job really easy, but The Butcher’s Cut is in one of the most remote areas near the edge of the map.
The best part? If you suspect someone coming in to attack you, there’s a special entrance to the sewer tunnels in the corner. Simply, walk over, climb down the ladder, and escape!
Tips:
- Use the large window to keep an eye on other players
- Increase your level to cook steaks faster
- Use the sewers to make a quick escape from ambushes!
Intermediate Jobs Guide

Moving on to the intermediate jobs, these are ones that will require a specific level to unlock and some tools. There’s also no specific location for these jobs, so it’s up to you to find a safe area where you won’t get ambushed on sight.
This risk is made up for in how much money they make though. Both the Fishing and Swiper jobs make far more money than the previous ones…at least until we get to Farming.
Swiper Tips
To become a Swiper, you must first reach level 10. It’ll take a little while, but you can quickly reach it by just grinding through the beginner job levels instead. You’ll also be earning lots of Cash at the same time to buy what you need.
After that, you have to find the Shady Dealer NPC in the alleyways. You’ll be able to buy the Hack Tool to then use on any ATM you see on the map. It’s easy, but still risky depending on where you go and how many tools you run through.
Tip: Buy better Hack Tools for more profits and quicker hacking times.
Fishing Tips
To start fishing, you gotta first buy a Fishing Rod. Fishing Rods can be bought from Jack’s Hardware Store with each one varying in quality. After that, you can find any body of water on the map, equip your rod, and then click on the water to start fishing.
You’ll eventually get a bite in which you can sell the caught fish immediately. Fishing is one of the most reliable mid-game methods because it scales well with better rods and has low risk compared to PvP jobs.
Tip: The docks and lake are the best fishing spots on the outskirts of the map.
The Hardest Job – Farming
Farming is the final and, in our opinion, the hardest job to start and make consistent money in. While it requires more setup, Farming can generate the highest long-term income, especially when you log off and return to harvest.
You can rent houses around the map for free, but the pots, seeds, and watering can all cost over a hundred Cash. The crops also take in-real-life time to grow, so Farming is more of an investment rather than a job. However, it has the potential to be the best job with the biggest payouts!
Tip: Plant multiple crops for the maximum amount of profits!
Best Jobs Summary:
- Early Game: Janitor
- Mid Game: Fishing / Swiper
- Late Game: Farming
Conclusion
In our opinion, Fishing and Swiper offer the best balance between risk and reward, while Farming is ideal for long-term players. No matter which job you choose to put your time into, you’ll be rolling in BlockSpin Cash and rewards the higher your levels become. It’s good to dabble in all of them once in a while, but the farming, Swiper, and fishing jobs are the true moneymakers overall. Just make sure you keep a few weapons on you!
